Poppers Festival Update

The organising committee met on 19th July and all appears to be coming together well. There is still a need for volunteers on the day from early morning, through the event and then after. If you would like to help please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

It looks like we will have a great rota of performers on both stages and there are several new attractions planned (subject to change) and we are likely to see bungee jumping, a stall selling only milkshakes and an animal petting zoo that will provide a great opportunity for children to hold the animals and some great photographs. Stall spaces are almost full but we will try to create space for the different and unusual. If you want a stall please email This email address is being protected from spambots. The posters advertising the event are now printed so these and banners should soon be seen. If you would like one to display please use the contact us link on this website.

The Canal Festival is back

This year it does not coincide with the Poppers Festival to allow more boats to attend. If you are walking then access from the town centre bridge on Watling Street. If you are driving then drive into Manor Fields from Watling Street, drive past the football club and the Irish Centre and park near the Community Orchard. From here you can walk along the tow path towards the town centre and then along to Fenny Lock.
